ഒരിക്കൽ ഒരാൾ തന്റെ ഗ്രാമത്തിലേക്കു ള്ള വഴിയിലൂടെ നടന്നു പോകുകയായി രുന്നു.പെട്ടെന്നാണ് ഒരു ചെന്നായ അ യാളുടെ ദൃഷ്ടിയിൽ പെട്ടത്. അയാൾ ഓടി ഓടി എത്തിപ്പെട്ടത് ഒരു നദിക്കരയി ലാണ്. ചെന്നായയിൽ നിന്ന് രക്ഷപ്പെടാ ൻ അയാൾ നദിയിലേക്കെടുത്തു ചാടി എന്നാൽ അയാൾ നദിയുടെ ശക്തമായ ഒഴുക്കിൽ പെട്ടുപോയി.
