യഥാര്‍ത്ഥ സമ്പത്ത്

The Real Wealth

ഒരിക്കല്‍ ഒരു സമ്പന്ന കുടുംബത്തില്‍, പിതാവ്  മകനെയും  കൂട്ടി ഒരു  യാത്ര തിരിച്ചു. മകനെ, തങ്ങളുടെ ഐശ്വ ര്യത്തിന്റെ വില എത്രത്തോളമു ണ്ടെന്നു മനസ്സിലാക്കിക്കൊടു ക്കാന്‍ വേണ്ടിയായിരുന്നു പിതാവ് ഈ യാത്ര തീരുമാനിച്ചത്.  യാത്ര ക്കിടയില്‍ അവര്‍ ഒരു ദരിദ്ര കുടും ബത്തോട് കൂടെ കുറച്ചു ദിവസം താമസിച്ചു. യാത്ര കഴിഞ്ഞു തിരി ച്ചെത്തിയ ശേഷം പിതാവ് മകനോ ടു ചോദിച്ചു.

“മകനേ,എങ്ങനെയുണ്ടായിരുന്നു നമ്മു ടെ യാത്ര?”

“വളരെ നന്നായിരുന്നു, അച്ഛാ”

“ദരിദ്രര്‍ എങ്ങനെയാണ് ജീവിക്കുന്നതെ ന്ന് നിനക്കു മനസ്സിലായില്ലേ?”

“അതെ, അച്ഛാ”

“അപ്പോള്‍ ഈ യാത്രയില്‍ നിന്നു നിന ക്കു എന്താണ് മനസ്സിലായത്?”

മകന്‍ മറുപടി പറഞ്ഞു.

“നമുക്ക് വീട്ടില്‍ ഒരു നായയെ ഉള്ളൂ അവര്‍ക്ക് നാലെണ്ണമുണ്ട്. നമ്മുടെ നീന്തല്‍ കുളം തോട്ടത്തിനെ മദ്ധ്യഭാഗം വരെ മാത്രമേ നീളമുള്ളൂ അവര്‍ക്കാ ണെങ്കില്‍ കണ്ണെത്താ ദൂരം നീളമുള്ള അരുവിയുണ്ട്. നമ്മുടെ ഇറക്കുമതി ചെയ്ത വിളക്കുകളേക്കാള്‍ എന്തു ഭംഗിയാണ് അവരുടെ മുറ്റത്തെ രാത്രി നക്ഷത്രങ്ങള്‍ക്ക്.!!! നമ്മുടെ കൊട്ടാരം നാലതിരുകള്‍ക്കുളിലാണ് അവരുടേ താണെങ്കില്‍ ചക്രവാളങ്ങള്‍ക്കുള്ളി ലാണ്. നമ്മെ പരിചരിക്കാന്‍ വേലക്കാര്‍ വേണം . പക്ഷേ അവര്‍ മറ്റുള്ളവരെ പരിചരിക്കുന്നു.നമ്മെ സംരക്ഷിക്കുന്ന ത് ചുറ്റുമത്തിലുകളാണെങ്കില്‍ അവരെ സുഹൃത്തുക്കള്‍ സംരക്ഷിക്കുന്നു.”

ഇത്രയും കേട്ടതോടെ പിതാവിന് മറു പടിക്ക് വാക്കുകളില്ലാതായി.

മകന്‍ ഇതുകൂടെ ചേര്‍ത്തു പറഞ്ഞു.

“നാം എത്ര ദരിദ്രരാണെന്ന് എനിക്കു മനസ്സിലാക്കിത്തന്നതിന് നന്ദി, അച്ഛാ”!!!
